Want to feel like you are in the not so touristy part of Mexico? This is the place to come to. A grocery store with a flat top grill and the most authentic food and staff you will find. A true hidden an undiscovered spot in Edgewater.

Best carne asada sopes ever...the place could use some remodeling since it's been open forever, and it looks the same. Overall, food is delicious.

I really wish they would make their store a little nicer. My parents first brought me here when I was five. And it's been at least 25 years since then. I live their sopes. I am just put off by their appearance.

Grocery store/Mexican food joint. Great local place, with good tacos, tortas, and burritos for a low price. For what you pay, the food is great! Like the others on here said, a rather unassuming place, but the folks working here are friendly, and the food is cheap and rather good. Somewhat of a hidden little gem in the neighborhood.

There's nothing special about this place, other than the fact that they serve inexpensive food inside. There's a friendly man behind the counter fixing burritos, tortas, and other Mexican staples. The food is not delicious by any means, merely average. The salsa they serve is too hot and not very tasty. Everything inside the store looks kind of old and dirty, with a standard selection of groceries. However, it is very close to me, and I do enjoy cheap prepared food. Until I hear about health code violations, I'll keep coming back!
